| We're in a hurry to get our kitchen remodeling finished before Roy's deployment. So our contractor started the demolition yesterday. Here are some pictures of before and after the demo.
although it looks ok from outside, everything is falling apart inside the cabinets.
The cardboard cutout is where our new island will be. The cut along the concrete is for the piping for the little island sink.

| So we have a new addition to our family...a baby gecko. C's female gecko laid several eggs during the summer months and this is his first success in hatching them at home. 2 were unsuccessful. 3rd time's the charm. It took about 50 days to hatch. The gender of the gecko depends on the temperature of the incubator. C believes it's a male based on the temperature. He still has 2 eggs in incubation. C's becoming a real reptile guy. (3 geckos, 1 redtail boa, and 1 ball python).

| Roy & I went on a double date last night with our good friends, Mark & Gail. Mark did all the planning. We went to dinner at the Yard and walked about 25 ft to the Irvine Improv. The main comedian was Anjelah Johnson. She is funny. She's most famous for her "Nail Salon" on YouTube. There were 3 other comedians, but I don't remember their names. We laughed our heads off at all 4 comedians, but I cannot recall any of the jokes they said.
